Almost every part is difficult and requires lots of planning. This is the granddaddy of the Legendaries and the hardest mission in the game. Keep the aggro on the tank and crowd control like crazy to keep them from coming to the area on the right side of the map and immediately where the team drops in as this is going to be the main spots to hunker down. The other method is to keep the normal builds on and possibly switch off of the DPS to a tank-style build. Throw seekers and use distance skills to whittle down the enemy. Doing this does take longer and it's recommended to have skill builds at the ready to do this. The longer version and safer one is to try and trigger the area before going over the wall. The final room is brutal and to top it off, a Recon Drone is flying above as well that will drop the team with its rockets given the chance. The Hammer wielding enemies will come quickly and they will overwhelm the team but from the tent, there is a threshold they cannot continue from and it makes it easier to dispatch them. The area with the C4 used on the gate can be managed not by taking the fight from where the C4 is planted but by taking it from where the tent is to get to the area where the C4 is located. Fall back if necessary as there won't be much in terms of good cover so don't hesitate to fall back at the first sign of trouble. Remember to destroy their backpacks immediately. Use the Blinder Firefly as the last case emergency because the Heavy Gunners will keep coming and need to be taken down quickly. The airplane tunnels are all about funneling. There are a few problem spots in the mission to avoid such as the airplane tunnels, the open section where the gate that's opened with the C4 is, and the final area. Roosevelt Island s a bit trickier due to the open areas and lack of cover. Continuously blind him and kill his pack first and he will go down soon after. Keep the team to the far edges of the map to avoid the pulse if he happens to let it fly.

As for the boss, he has a long-range pulse but it can be mitigated by keeping him blinded. Once they are dead, rotate to the far back of the room and clear off the small-time enemies before handling the boss. After the second wave, healers will start to drop down and then need to be taken out immediately. Stay at the opening area and stay along the wall to the left of where the entrance funnels through. The final room is where the pain truly happens. They will come, and when they do, quick Blinders and focus fire on the Heavy Gunners to get through. It will feel cramped but don't chase the enemies. For the halfway point, take the fight from the entrance of the room. As long as they keep getting a continuous stream of Blinder Fireflies, they will be no problem. Immediately attack the healers and then the Heavy Gunners will appear. The first area, once the opening section is cleared, is a door that once opened and player step through, immediate crowd control with the blinders should be used.

The big trouble spots will be the first area going into the actual arena, the halfway point with the escalators, and the boss room. Going into the same room with the enemies is a sure group wipe. The main focuses here should be to go from room to room but taking each room from the previous one to cause a funnel effect. Roosevelt is a bit more challenging due to the openness of the areas. Of the three Legendaries, this is the one that is the best to start with as it eases the team into the flow of how Legendaries work. A final word on prep is even if the team completes the missions or wipes, remember the spawn points of the enemies as these are huge advantages to kill them and control them quickly. Being healed quickly takes precedence over the revive which can be done manually by the healer. A Restorer Hive is preferred for the healer of the group as dying will be a standard at first. At least two Blinder Fireflies are a must for the crowd control aspect and the person running Crowd Control should have a 15-20 second duration on it to make life easier against enemies.

Warhounds can be the worst things on the battlefield and this will help to neutralize them if only for a second to get the kill. Have one or maybe two Jammer Pulses on the team at the minimum depending on the situation. Having the packs go down is the priority. Some have healing and some have Stinger Hives attached to them and both spell death. A word of advice is the moment a Heavy Gunner shows their face, destroy their backpacks immediately. This does go without saying but the higher the DPS, the better because there will be times when the movement will be limited to a small area, and taking down a Heavy Gunner with a healing backpack needs to be taken down quickly. With each mission, be sure that the DPS is as high as possible.
